The Notre Dame Center for Liturgy is holding a symposium on “Liturgy and the New Evangelization” this June 20-23.  It will include speakers in the morning and early afternoon as well as break-out sessions in the afternoon. Dr. Timothy O’Malley, the Director of the Notre Dame Center for Liturgy, said that these groups will be split into “priests, those involved in liturgy proper, high school and college campus ministers, and those explicitly interested in homiletics.”  The groups will be able to talk with each and each will have someone helping lead the sessions.  According to Professor O’Malley, the goal at the very end (which will include a panel) is to encourage strategic thinking about how the Liturgy can be used to evangelize.
